RECOVERY-INFORMED TRAINING

RTI Recovery-Informed Training is designed to help individuals and organizations move recovery-informed principles into practice. Grounded in practical application, each training goes beyond building understanding to strengthen how people think, respond, make decisions, and support recovery in real-world situations.

Every training is built to create a shift, in what you understand, how you approach your work, and what you do next. From difficult conversations and complex decisions to everyday interactions and organizational practice, participants leave with practical tools and greater confidence to apply recovery-informed thinking where it matters most.

Because recovery-informed training should not end when the session does. It should change what happens next.

Become a Course Instructor

RTI brings together course instructors from both within and outside the Institute, drawing on ideas from across recovery care, community, treatment, workplaces, leadership, health care, correctional care, disability care, recovery coaching, culture, and other settings where there is something useful to learn about people, recovery, and how we support one another.

Course instructors develop specific content around the subjects they know, care about, and have experience working within. That may become one course or several, depending on the depth of the subject and what there is to teach.

We are interested in the places where passion and skill set come together. Where someone has something real to contribute from their experience, expertise, practice, or lived recovery experience, and can help us examine a subject through the larger conversation of Recovery-Informed Training.
